Damn Kid's transformation looks amazing. It probably levitates due to magnetism. It looks like it'd be the heavy lifter alongside Luffy's G4. Can't wait to see more about it :steef:
Indeed, I pointed it out twice before
The point of Kaido saying Luffy shouldn't be able to match him, that only a few people in the world can, with Oden being among the figures who almost defeated him on his own, is a build up for the moment where Luffy will ultimately fight him in a 1 on 1...
Killer is the real winner of the chapter
Readers before the chapter:
- Why is Killer on the roof ?
- He is a fodder who can't even damage Kaido
Killer in the chapter
- Confirmed to have been nerfed without his "punisher" blade
- Proved that he possess advanced haki to be able to damage Kaido...
If we count title, Kaido > Mihawk
If we count portrayal, Shanks >/~ Kaido
If we count feats Mihawk ~ Vista
Basically Mihawk's superior(based on title) views Shanks as someone who could kill him
Mihawk really needs to step up his game :josad:
Seems like it, either that or it's something else, maybe the people he believes could kill him, because Shanks only became an emperor 6 years ago, with the only known encounter between them(during MF) ending with Shanks coming clean, not suggesting there to have been a huge fight.
But it's...
He questioned. He didn't recognize it. Luffy probably told him off-panel that he trained advanced haki with the old man Hyou, but he didn't know what it was before seeing Luffy actually use it and questioning if it's what Luffy told him before
The more it's going, the less likely it become. As...
No i meant he may not have used advanced haki on G4. He used it on the Red Roc, but considering Oda wanted to show off Kid(who was shocked by Luffy's level of haki), and Law in a parallel to Luffy, he probably reserved it for later
Luffy may not have used advanced haki. It's the beginning of the fight, with Oda trying to parallel Luffy's attacks to Kid and Law's in order to show them off, with them gradually weakening Kaido before Luffy's 1 on 1 against Kaido which will be brutal
I meant more the people who were responsible of his 7 defeats. I do think those people can hurt him, but they probably didn't fight / defeated him before.
Kaido is the type of character who acknowledge only people who he views as stronger. He questioned who does Luffy think he is, by saying...
Makes sense. Kaido is the type of character who only acknowledge people he recognize as stronger. Roger, Whitebeard and Rocks probably kicked his ass repeatedly, making him acknowledge them as stronger. In Oden's case, he always felt it like a defeat despite winning due to the hostage thing
Btw the Oden wank is insane. Among all the people in the world, when thinking of the ones who can fight against him, Oden is among the first one he thinks of, neglecting even Big Mom who is around him right now :josad:
Also Killer most likely got a boost. I doubt he damaged Kaido the first time. Kaido complimented him in managing that(with Zoro). Every SNs on the roof are getting upgrades, so that by the end of this arc they'd show why they're the leaders of the new era :myman:
The fact that Killer could damage Kaido in a combo attack with Zoro when even Killer's captain(Kid) is shocked that a blunt attack could hurt Kaido suggest that it might be easier to damage Kaido with slicing attack than blunt attack
I know, i'm just pointing this out for the people who believed Killer was fodder to Zoro. Zoro is still stronger than Killer imo, especially after his Enma training, but he could give him a good fight
