Literally everywhere you see states that Mihawk is waiting for someone stronger than Shanks. Why would he want to fight someone stronger than shanks if he is not already stronger than Shanks? Where is the logic in that? I dunno but Shanks is labeled as a Swordsman and he is not called the WSS...

That still doesn't exclude him having ACoC against Mihawk though. We all know you can even strengthen ACoC if we look the past chapters. When Luffy first unlocked ACoC he wasn't able to split the skies against Kaido, same to Yamato. Only when he faced Kaido the 3rd time he was able to do that...

How do you know that Shanks didn't have ACoC back then? Thats just headcannon. WB hyped both Shanks and Mihawks fights up and called it legendary. I can imagine skysplitting happening there.

The top tiers are the strongest among the strongest. So it’s veeeery safe to assume that Mihawk possesses it. How the heck would he fight an ACoC dude like shanks otherwise?

Mihawk is a top tier of course he has CoC. It was never confirmed that he wouldn’t have it. But we all know all top tiers posses this power.
