General & Others Why do some people cope about anime not being canon even if its adapting the manga?

Sanji wasn't distracted though he was directly looking at king at least in his direction. The panel with nami didn't cause a distraction, sanji was focused on momo and king who was infront of him grabbing him.

Drake is garbage. He was only trashed in the manga. So I don't see it as a problem when Sanji low diffed drake. King would negg diff him, just like he low diffed sanji in his RS. (He did it in manga too but it wasn't that detailed like in the anime) 1644782846 Yeah, you don't need to watch the...

I agree this batman filler scene was really aweful and non forgiving how bad it was executed. But other filler scenes such as sanji vs drake, sanji vs king and zoro vs apoo (him not sneak attacking) were good executed.

Like I earlier said its debatable since oda is working with anime team and its his story remember? Small changes being made that make sense should also be seen as canon imo.

General & Others Why do some people cope about anime not being canon even if its adapting the manga?

As long as the storyline that takes place in the anime is the same as in the manga its true to the original story. And as we know the anime is adapting the whole manga, otherwise we would watch two piece instead of one piece. :goyea:

General & Others Why do some people cope about anime not being canon even if its adapting the manga?

I said the anime is adapting the manga otherwise it would have a completely different story. Adapting the manga = canon since its true to the original story. And you can argue about stuff that didn't happen in the manga. The original creator himself is in communication with the anime team if a...

Still explains what canon, non canon and headcanon is. You were claiming that I wouldn't understand what canon is, so I proved you wrong. The anime is adapting the manga and therefore is staying true to the original story. You can argue about some filler, but anime isn't 100% filler if you watch it.

General & Others Why do some people cope about anime not being canon even if its adapting the manga?

Urban Dictionary: Canon Anime is true to the original story, it only extends some stuff in much more detail for the most part. :willsmith:

Exactly sanji bois are in shambles once a filler scene occours that destroys their headcanon. :vistalaugh:

General & Others Why do some people cope about anime not being canon even if its adapting the manga?

But the anime still adapts the manga nontheless. Even if they add some filler. Sometimes as you said they are overdoing it. Take Batman and zoro and luffy for example. But the soba kick was a nice addition in P1 fight and the filler against king was more of a complementary thing since the fight...

I agree some filler scenes are bullshit, but not everything like come on.

General & Others Why do some people cope about anime not being canon even if its adapting the manga?

Why do some certain people cope hard about stuff that the anime clearly adapts in much more detail than in the manga? For example when King fought against Sanji we saw how superior King was, he one handed Sanji. People coped Now the anime adapted the one shotting scene against Apoo showing...
