You know as well as I do that if it was a do or die situation then Luffy could have damaged him. During the Lucci fight, G2 couldn't break through Lucci's Tekkai, but that last ditch willpower infused Jet gatling that ended the fight tore through it, like it was nothing.

Luffy didn't put his heart and soul into any of the attacks he launched on Kaido. We're talking about a series where one of the characters had a .02 percent survivability rate, and recovered in less than 24 hours because of his Willpower. I can provide dozens of more examples of impossible...

Yeah, but you have to figure that in One Piece, Willpower = Strength, and in that moment the Scabbards put their heart and sole into that attack for Oden's sake. Would they be able to replicate injuring Kaido with every attack? I doubt it.

It's possible he can, but unfortunately Oda is keeping the inner workings of Haki under lock and key for some damn reason. Don't know why he just doesn't explain this shit already and get it over with.

Because there is different variants of CoA. You can't just assuming that the one Mihawk has is the most superior one. Of course it's possible it is, but to act like it's definitive, is getting carried away.

Again, the biggest CoA accomplishments for that specific type of Armament Haki. You're automatically assuming that type of CoA, is superior to any other type of CoA.

There is different variations of Armament Haki, as confirmed by both Luffy and Kaido, and each person who has CoA are lumped into a specific type. Will Mihawk have the strongest fCoA best suited for a Swordsmen? Sure... Strongest CoA out of anyone in the series? Let's not get carried away.

Let's not pretend Haki has nothing to do with this here.

People like Shanks, Blackbeard and Whitebeard aren't known for having harder than iron skin like Big Mom and Kaido. All three of those guys have been injured by conventional means.

Honestly, the whole thing might have just been a plot device to get Marco out of the picture for all this stuff with the Scabbards to be able to transpire, and when Marco and Perospero get to Onigashima Oda makes it on sight for Sulong Carrot and Pero.
