LMAO. It took me way too long to parse this part. "Cowgirl" almost always means something else to me, so I was staring at my screen for a few seconds trying to figure out what you meant.
Kaido doesn't address her as Oden though. Yamato identifies as Oden, it would be weird for Kaido to treat her as male but not as Oden. That isn't actually respecting their life choices. Yamato doesn't really identify as a man.

No it's a core component of Yamato's character.
It's a core component of Yamato's backstory.
It's the reason for Yamato's dream.
It is the entire reason Yamato is fighting Kaido.
It's not just a Princess thing, if you changed that, we wouldn't have Yamato but a different character entirely...
How could she have been introduced in Punk Hazard?

It would have been another character entirely and not Yamato. Yamato's core concept requires her to have been imprisoned on Onigashima. She could never have been introduced before then.
Top tier fanservice in all of them, but I think the first one is the most appealing. Carrot already covers the furry market, so there's no need for Hybrid Yamato to appeal in that way.
Some artists give Yamato a masculine appearance because they believe she's a trans man. I was curious if a similar sentiment was why Beky wanted her to have smaller chests.
