Haha true. Even though I wasn't old enough to watch him play live, I've seen clips/matches of Riquelme and I think he is very underrated.
I generally love number 10 type, creative players (I think the term for it is enganche although I'm not sure) and Riquelme was top class at the role :)
I'm not saying that Burgess would be defeated earlier, I'm saying that he would be defeated during the fighting itself by an ally of the SHs.
And just like Jack, Oda used Burgess as a disposable tool in Dressrosa to hype Sabo, he also caused problems for the Revolutionaries and Shiryu & Laffitte...
Not a problem honestly. All SH arc fights in the Post TS had one "ally" take down one of the Enemy Commanders.
Kyros took down Diamante. Zoro beat Pica, Sanji wasn't in the arc.
Inuarashi took down Jack. King & Queen were reserved for Zoro & Sanji.
Some other Ally is probably set up to take...
It has a lot of potential honestly, especially in the Final War arc against the WG.
I just hope Oda doesn't drop the ball and wastes it entirely, like he did with SMILE, Numbers, etc,.
Depends on which direction Oda chooses to take SWORD. It can either be a team within the Marines hierarchy itself or it could be a separate faction of Marines who try to fight for good rather than the extremist Justice that the current WG/Navy stands for.
Personally I lean towards the latter...
A lot of Oda's angels were being awfully quiet during the time when the chapter where Kinemon was still alive dropped...
That alone speaks volumes lol.
Personally I dont think the Navy High Command knows about SWORD's existence and even if some Admirals know about it or even be in it - there's 100% no chance for a Sakazuki fanboy like Aramaki to be in it. I'd rather bet on Issho.
- Roof Piece, CoC, Scarring Kaido, vs King fight were all good stuff.
- Not fighting a Samurai/Swordsman is a minor issue but atleast it makes sense since Wano is now a defeated country full of losers like Kaido said. The only Samurais worth fighting from Wano were Oden & Ryuma and we can...
The worst part is Ryokugyu had all the new Bounty posters with the updated Bounties.. and yet Oda didn't reveal it when it would take very less to reveal it in the same chapter with the Captain trio Bounties.
Out of all the excuses that Oda could choose to have Yamato stay in Wano, Oda chose the worst lol.
You could've easily had the Ryokugyu fight make Yamato want to stay in Wano and protect it but no, Oda had Momonosuke talk about her farewell and how Wano is going to be self sufficient from now...
Absolute Justice is the way! :finally:
Almost like they learned literally nothing from Robin's backstory, Franky's backstory, Fisher Tiger's backstory, Otohime's backstory, Doffy's backstory, Law's backstory....
It's a stupid unnecessary addition to the chapter which resolves zero existing plot points nor was required in the first place.
And that statement also doesn't look good with the themes & ideas Oda used some main characters to talk about, f.ex. "Existence is not a crime." (Franky/Robin) or "A...
