Depends on your style. BUt, by personal preference, I would definitely recommend YuYu Hakusho first. At least until after the Dark Tournament Arc. HxH is VERY, VEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERY different from YYH, in my opinion. But also very good.

Kurama's true form is awesome. Basically a "what if Sesshoumaru fought using Usopp's Pop Greens?" Love it.

That's the problem with stories with "multiple protagonists". I personally wouldn't pick anyone from Team Urameshi as a clear deuteragonist.
