People become blinded of the flaws of things they're fans of. This is to be expected as those things basically become a piece of themselves. At the very least those that are ok with the current state of One Piece isn't 90%.

It's deplorable writing is what it is.
Doesn't solve the issue that this arc's writing was handled rather poorly, ZKK or not, and the Post-TS in it's entirety has been a burning mess altogether.
Sorry, but still doesn't make sense as he could of simply left Wano altogether. He didn't have to participate in something that he knew would be near-certain death. He didn't just have the option of either serving Kaido, or try the alliance again. He's suppose to be his own captain. Still...
Let's not forget that as long as we've known him he has always done his cards' bidding. No he decides to stay loyal inspite of his cards? That's complete bullshit!
