Actually that is what happened. He came out of that mode ones he lost stamina. It doesn't mean he cannot fight after high speed movement. It means you need a certain level of stamina to maintain high speed movement

It is high speed movement. Multiple characters have shown that ability, however, Sanji is the only one so far who had used it consistently for more than a second. It comes at the cost of stamina. Invisibility via RS is camouflage , it does not cost stamina but it works for a single attack
