Guys, don't overrate the shit out of Oden. There is buildup for Zoro to be comparable/surpass him this arc (with the "waiting for another samurai of his caliber" line) and Luffy will be above Zoro. Oden isn't beating a single current emperor or admiral.

The thing with Kaido is that a certain level of attack is needed to truly start hurting/damaging him. But against top tiers that can use attacks of a certain level consistently, is Kaido's durability/resistence that impressive? A single powerful attack from Oden had him already in big trouble...

By the end of the series, you will be surprised by how many people will have shown King's haki. The top tiers having it is a given but its rarity it's not as big of a deal as some you are making it to be. Chinjao, Kata, likely Yamato etc. Sanji will likely have it.
