Bruh, follow the conversation. I spoke of my personal life because Nat asked me to tell her about it. I've never linked it with the abortion debate.

    Roe vs Wade Overturned?

That's literally me talking about my personal life. And I don't see how that makes me look narcissistic; it's not like I am trying to act superior because I do what I do or anything. It's one thing to say I have bad things happening to me too and to say I am better than you because I do this and...

    Roe vs Wade Overturned?

Things have changed a lot. I'd say women over here have almost as many rights as their western counterparts but the system hasn't been fully adapted. Women's oppression is still in practice but it's more of an individual choice at this point. Most people are changing and allowing women to be...

    I agree with that completely.

In my place, most men take care of these responsibilities besides the ones I get from my brother. That's why I mostly don't feel overburdened by my responsibilities because they're pretty normal here.

Well, to say a few: I've been the main breadwinner for our family for over a decade. We're a joint family. I have an older brother, who was born with some disadvantages—let's just say I am the smarter of the two. So I gotta take care of his responsibilities too. I have a mother who worked her...

    Roe vs Wade Overturned?

It's really unfortunate that the scum of society creates such problems for women, but that's not a reason to hate on and insult all men in the world. There are a lot of men who protect women with their lives too. I am not sure where you're from but in my place, a lot of men do an excellent job...

I am more than willing to be a stay-at-home husband who listens to his wife if it means dropping all the male responsibilities I have rn.

I do agree these problems still do exist, but the society now is definitely much different from what it was 100 years ago because you and I aren't living in a society where women don't get to vote—Unless you're living in North Korea, of course. Also, this has nothing to do with the argument...

    Roe vs Wade Overturned?

The point is that men go through the same kind of restrictions too—in different places. So I don't see how that's a privilege for men. I am not gonna pretend that catcalling and harassment over what women wear aren't happening. But being able to wear whatever you want isn't a privilege but a...

    Roe vs Wade Overturned?

If you go a bit further back in history, most men don't have the right to vote too. While it is true women got the right to vote much later than men, this isn't a women-only issue. And I don't see how you can use that to justify the hate against men or to say men get all the privileges in this...

I can't go to work wearing a sleeveless shirt. Hell, I can't even wear a T-shirt while no one gets a say in what women wear to work. So where exactly is the privilege that only applies to the men?

Thanks for the reminder. What are there privileges that men get? Getting openly trashed and still not getting any support from the onlookers? Imagine if a man said the same thing that you've said about women.

It's a necessity, not a privilege IMO. Even we, men, wouldn't wanna work if we're getting cramps. I'd say it'd be cool if men get compensated for working more or we could just brush it off as a small price we need to pay for having an advantage over women.

    Roe vs Wade Overturned?

If this is about the recent argument we're having. It really doesn't matter if you're a woman or men; if you're working fewer days, then you're automatically working less than your co-workers generally speaking. You don't have to be a women hater or someone who doesn't care about women's rights...

    Roe vs Wade Overturned?

There is more to the gender pay gap than just "men are paid more than women". Generally speaking, these statistics are just overall averages that do not take things like differences in roles, jobs, the amount of time spent working, experience, etc into consideration. You get cases like these...

    Roe vs Wade Overturned?

I'd say rather than expelling women from working just because they can't work as many days as men. We should do something for men to compensate for working more days. Both sides would be happy that way. There are women who are really talented and competent. You don't really wanna lose them.

    You're using logic; that's misogynistic.

    Roe vs Wade Overturned?

Yup, as long as the work quality is the same or superior, men are indeed a better option in this case.

As a fellow human, I really appreciate the move. But if I were a businessman, I wouldn't want to pay for leave days.:milaugh:
