That's right full raid failure. Everyone escapes like Nami is saying this chapter.
And I always thought that mega Kaido would fight the SSG, since Oda added that line where Kaido mentions them for a reason in my opinion.
I think that if Oda really wanted us to think Kaido is using his awakened form he would've stated it, instead of just having Law tell us he's using his hybrid form.

Kaido switches between hybrid, human and full zoan. As far as we know, awakened zoans can't do that. The awakened impel down guards and Luffy stay in their awakened form and that's it.
Just think of it this way.
Luffy vs Doflamingo: Oda wants to show Doflamingo has awakening, so he gives him this never before seen ability of turning his surroundings into strings.
Luffy vs Katakuri: Oda wants to show Katakuri has awakening, so he has him turn his surroundings into Mochi
Now...
It has already been stated that Kaido is in his hybrid form. Every time a character has used awakening it has been explicitely stated in the story, and there's always a visual difference. Oda always makes it very clear when a character is using it.
And Nami is saying that there is no where to escape and run unless they land. I wonder why oda added that line. I thought this was supposed to be the final battle, the characters shouldn't even be thinking of escaping.:zorothink:
