Yeah I can see that. Law brought in sales because Oda took the time to develop him individually and with the SHs. He could have put in a fraction of that same effort on Kid.

Damned punk is a cool technique, however, Oda could do so much more with Kidd’s fruit. Magnetism is such a cool and op power and it’s strange that Oda wasn’t that creative with it. Especially when we consider how creative he got with Luffy’s fruit.

My only concern is aren’t we too late in the series for a Kidd comeback? Unlike the SHs defeat, Oda’s never showcased Kidd and his crew the same way. I don’t know if Kidd will still be in the race for pirate king, but I do have hopes that he will be a pivotal player in the final war.

Kidd’s tenacity is the reason he’s a conqueror! I have been excited for Elbaf since Little Garden, and now that Kidd’s on Elbaf I am even more excited for the arc!

Oda would never do this, but I am hoping to see Kidd in Elbaf without Luffy. I don’t even need a full chapter. Just one chapter with a few panels dedicated to him. That would suffice for me!

I want to see Kidd and his crew explore Elbaf. I hope Elbaf has less characters than Wano. During Wano Kidd was integral in defeating Big Mom, but I wanted more character development. I hope Oda really explores Kidd and his crew in Elbaf!

I really enjoyed reading your thoughts on Kid! I wish I had something more eloquent to say, but I just agree with you. Kid had a lot of wasted potential. I also tend to gravitate towards characters who don’t have complicated backstories. Sometimes less is more.
