When they're floating mostly, and some of the camera work on it. Even the smoothest most consistent artist or animator ever can't do a turn around that precise and smooth. The turn around of the attack, floating rocks, and platforms were CG, maybe one of the background mountains.
Pretty sure that's because it was enclosed hallways vs open air. They were given more open area to show things like speed. Aside from blurs, it's hard to depict that in a smaller space.
For me, the episode was fine. I still don't like King. Zoro was cool but no amount of flashy attacks you give...
So far according to preview in ART direction (critiquing as an artist), 1061 is better. The overall compositions, dynamic angles, and color theory was better.
But I'll reserve judgement until next week.
