As much as I like the arc the biggest mistake Kubo made was not including the 1000 year flashback to young Yama and Yhwach.

Yama had a great death imo. he went out standing similar to white beard, one of the best and most shocking deaths of the series.

Ulquiorra's Lanza de relampago is a country level attack. the explosion dwarfed Las noches which is a fortress which takes days to get from one side to the other.

Pre-Almighty Yhwach is actually pretty great, after he gets the Almighty he becomes one dimensional. Only the last 10 chapters are rushed because Kubo had a torn shoulder so he wanted to wrap it up quick, the rest of the arc is fine pacing wise to me. The royal guard is very underwhelming the...
