Some writers seem to have this notion that indirect casualties dont count which leads to some smooth brain story telling
In Oda's mind the couple hundred Oden saved by humiliating himself for years absolves him of the 1000s that died after he failed to kill Kaido.
I dont mind his character but the decisions he made were fucking awful
>didnt ask WB or Roger pirates for help
>didnt attack Kaido/Orochi with his crew as soon as he got to Wano
I was legit mad reading that segment in the story. It felt so forced.
