Imagine if we were introduced to Kaido when he was a child (weird I know but work with me here...). His character design is adorable/non-threatening, to add to the shock value when the flashback concludes and his current intimidating/brutal design is shown.

That’s the point, it’s the reverse of what he usually does. Instead of introducing the current design of the character, he’s showing how they looked in the past in order to create anticipation for how they look now.

Also. Episode/Chapter 0 with the birth of Kuina and Shutenmaru’s clash with Kaido. The former took place 22 years ago while the latter took place 20 years ago. Also, I’m 99% sure the fact about Koushirou and Kuina’s lineage is from both the Vivre Cards and the SBS.

For the same reason Kuina looks like Tashigi (and vice versa)..... They’re from the same bloodline.... The people who founded Shimotsuki Village are related to the Shimotsuki who lived in Wano

No. It’s not. Compare the looks of someone like Ace/Sabo/Nojiko when they were close to that age, to Denjirō. He is clearly a teenager, closer to Coby’s age during Chapter 1.

To humor you guys, does that really look like a 10 year old? Kōshirō is 51, meaning he would have to be either 9/10/11 in this flashback... Does he look any of those ages to you guys?

His ancestors are from Wano. He is not directly from Wano. That is not Koshiro. Why does it feel like a small segment of the fandom knows these crucial facts?
