Last gen Germa doesn't matter, Sanji's story will tie back to his ancestors who once Conquered the entire North Blue. It's pretty obvious that the conclusion will be that Judge's way was not the right way to restore Germa's glory, and Sanji the supposed failure will be the "chosen one".

The story is more interesting if some of the future powerhouses fly under the radar at first.
