Luffy vs kaido shouldn’t be nearing its end because there’s no tension. Compare this chapter to the chapters before doffy and kata were defeated. Luffy is fighting on par with kaido and arguably besting him. kaido has to awaken otherwise G4 will destroy him

I hope not - flower capital is still blissfully unaware -orochi and his gang are yet to be defeated -linlin hasn’t been defeated - no Kaido flashback

Luffy has FS and internal destruction CoA, which Kaido doesn't have Kaido probably only has better CoC, and even then, they are comparable as they did split the sky

Honestly tho I think Zunesha has some DF that is yet to be revealed I mean Momo's powers in regards to Zunesha has the serious potential to be uranus, just due to its similarity with what Shirahoshi can do. However Oda isn't going to make Uranus the same thing as poseidon, but giant elephants...

More like he's spent the entire arc being a good subordinate. Taking hakai for Luffy and subsequently fighting the first commander so that Luffy can beat kaido.

Zunesha has a rare type of DF called a God zoan. These DFs are so powerful that the WG changed their names to hide their existence. Zunesha has the kami kami no mi model: Kangiten(which is the japanese name for the hindu god, Ganesha)

That's why I think he will probably awaken soon. Either he will get bested by Luffy really bad once he goes G4, or Linlin's defeat will cause him to do it.

Also, if ZKK is going to happen, Oda probably won't make it look like an outright murder. He just doesn't have the SHs do that. If awakening basically gives Kaido the mind of a dragon and destroys his humanity, Zoro killing him would not only be justified, it might even be merciful.

That's definitely not his awakening if you look at the impel down guards compared to normal zoan hybrids, normal hybrids are far more human-like than the impel down guards. Like others have said, awakening makes zoans go mindless, so its probably kaido's final trump card that he will only use...

I think it would make a lot of sense if Zunisha was an awakened mythical zoan. As it would potentially set up kaido's awakening, of which we seemingly know nothing about. Why are Kid, Law, Doffy, and Kata awakened but not kaido? Perhaps when you awaken a zoan, you cannot undo the awakening...
