Random thought: I love Naruto's new "fake" hand, it's very cool bandaged as well. Reminds me of Anakin. The fact that Sasuke refused a new one is my favourite thing he's done since... Well since his character went haywire. But it kinda took away from his battle prowess.

Well, the thing is he should be slowly dying from hunger (????). But he wasn't reanimated because he was still probably alive, and Kakuzu noted this (which just goes to show he actually cared ~). This is how I understood it at least.

In fact, one thing did bother me. Hidan was gotten rid of too easily (apparently he ain't even dead), despite the plan against him being brilliant. I'm a bit on the fence about Shikamaru managing to use a syringe at such accuracy and speed. Hidan and Kakuzu could have been used better, and...

I think this again boils down to women being the tender bystanders. One could argue even that Nagato didn't want her to have to dirty her hands. But her last stand against Obito was magnificent, loved it.

I think Deidara certainly gave them a run for their money, he was in many battles while still alive, perhaps too many. But then others were killed relatively easily. If he made them too powerful, might have been a bit overkill. The same overkill we later felt in the war :') Yeah, I think it is...

Yeah. Also Kakashi's is all over the place, and that is just some important characters. Good thing he didn't do an expanded world like One Piece, otherwise Naruto would have had a hidden twin brother who's three years younger than him. But let's ignore unimportant details like age ~

It's crazy, I've given up trying to make sense of the timelines. Itachi is supposed to have been 14 when he massacred everyone with Obito, and joined the Akatsuki.

Definitelyyyy. The forest took it to another level. I thought Orochimaru was scary as hell, and it made the story so much more interesting. Same same same. I wish the war arc was more deserving. Not that there weren't great things in it! But I guess as a mangaka of a long-running shonen series...

I don't mean to sound negative about the manga btw. The madness of the characters and the sinister note is what I like it for. When Sasuke turned all dark during the Chunin exams, I knew it was the show for me. It's the note I sometimes miss in One Piece.

I’d like to think I would have empathy for everyone, at least I try to. Not really more for Obito than Nagato, I’m trying to explain a possible assessment of Obito because it is very all over the place, I’m not denying. And I don’t think it’s as straightforward as Rin gets killed -> causes war...
