I guess the simple answer here is, using Ryo would bring him into a spotlight, which would meant Kaido eventually get the info about him being alive, which means he would know momo is alive. A risk he couldnt take at this time.

I just tried to explain why Kinemon (+ other scabbards) are able to hurt Kaido with Ryo, while Luffy without Ryo in Gear 4 wasnt able to. But you obviously just want to spread some salt. Also i dont really care for these Power-Level-Discussions. So i end the discussion here from my side.

Scabbards with ryo hurt Kaido, elephant gatling didnt. So focused on one point, yeah the ryo attack of them had more AP. But Elephant Gatling is also an AOE-Attack, which should be considered with that argumentation.

You should read my whole post before making these assumption. But let me do it easily. Imagine Kaido has defence of 100. Luffy Gear 4 Deals damage of 90. Not enough for his defence. Scabbards deals damage without ryo of 50. Way weaker then Luffy. But Ryo, imagined as weapon, increase the damage...

Why should i imply that? If the Scabbards wouldnt use Ryo, they couldnt hurt Kaido. But at the same time i am pretty sure that someone like Roger could have hurt Kaido even without Ryo. Ryo is just like a weapon to make it obviously easier.

Ryo. What do you think did Luffy tried to learn the whole time in Udon. Exactly what they are using RN to hurt Kaido.
