Wes thought Luffy would win against Kaido in 15 minutes and that post power nap + full belly Luffy was somehow more nerfed than Kaido. Oh, and of course that would be a legit 1v1 win that would prove Luffy's superiority. He's the nik87 of the Luffy fandom, with a worse track record though...

I don't know if he was evil or not, but considering the route Oda's taking with Luffy's fruit and Shanks originally stealing it from the WG... At this point I wouldn't be surprised if Shanks went to the Gorosei to talk about JoyBoy. It could also explain why they only got super worried about...

Of course not. Somebody needs to interfere. But I expect at least some consistency in the story. We just went through the same scenario 30 chapters ago, with Kaido *specifically* regretting not doing it.

Yeah, the first time he regretted not cutting his head off, so now if he has accepted his win that should be the logical next step. This is why we need the victory cry + den den mushi announcement, Marco needs to know that he's gotta fly up there. :cheers:
