Yeah Big Mom without her swords is roughly as helpless as Zoro without his swords. She is only good for fodder control at that point. All the real fights she had on panel she needed a sword.

Why would 28 year old Linlin not be prime Linlin when 21 year old Zoro and 19 year Luffy would be Prime Zoro and Prime Luffy and they are not even freak of natures like Big Mom.
