I'm open to it, but I just don't see it as a necessity. To me borders opening later makes way more sense. The Wano arc is about the last 20 years not the last 800.
Sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn't. His tendency for pattern isn't inherently predictive.
Morj made a similar strawman to...
Following this logic it's already bizarre that Luffy awakened G5 under a full moon and has powered down and fallen asleep before the sunrise.
But yea this is the kind of projection I'm talking about. Morj does this a lot too, where he gets an idea in his head for how everything needs to play...
Idk we're speculating on a scene/imagery that doesn't necessarily have to happen. In Alabastia it was rain. In Skypiea it was sun. Maybe in Wano it's a volcano and that's it. The volcano (so far) is depicted as a good thing. It's an explosive heralding of Kaidou's defeat. So idk that we are...
1.) Probably because he felt Joyboy getting ready to awaken or something, or that he made an agreement with Momonosuke. But really the narrative reason is that Oda is setting up something that will pay off later. Reopening Wano is tied to Zunesha, and Zunesha is tied to the void century. Not...
Not compared to what will happen in the endgame.
After this arc we are looking at power shifts and vacuums in the pirate world. Warlord system is over, two emperors defeated, Blackbeard and Shanks making their moves, etc etc. But the fundamental structure of the world is still the same. The...
I don't think Wano will open it's borders during the Wano arc. The Wano arc is about resolving the Wano conflict of the last 20 years. Opening the borders is about what happened during the void century. It's endgame material.
Yea Wano opening the borders is clearly an end of story development, either for the final war or after the WG is toppled. It was never going to happen this arc.
lol it's not even just the narration bro it's every single thing about the chapter. Nothing about what is happening here indicates a reversal.
If Kaidou was going to get back up that would be set up in the chapter. For example, if Kaidou was about to awaken Luffy wouldn't be unconscious. He'd...
Ok I'll throw a bone to the ZKK people.
ZKK can still happen if Kaidou comes back as an antagonist in the final war. Maybe if Blackbeard or Imu gets some kind of mind control device and makes Big Mom and Kaidou to fight for them. Maybe then endgame Zoro can beat Kaidou. I don't necessarily...
Because they aren't identical at all. Totally different contexts, totally different narrative framing, totally different on the ground realities. Kaidou beat Luffy mid raid. Luffy beat Kaidou and closed out the raid.
