Which is a very odd phrase is see alot.Godvalleys big event is over one woman while thousands are dying .Roger the so called”Gold d luffy” and the king of the golden age is trying to force a woman to be his wife while thousands of slaves are getting murdered In a berserk eclipse type hell zone.Whitebeard who everyone chalks up to be a Good lovable guy The same dude who had to fight as a kid against the wg so his home country could be protected is doing nothing to help those who he can at God valley over shakky same with all the other “hero’s”of one peice. The person who came out changed after God valley was dragon he saw the horrors of the world government which his dad ignored while every pirate was fighting for one woman and ignoring the screams of the slaves a lone 16 year old dragon was there to be a true hero ignoring the risk of protecting them.
Dragon doesn’t get enough respect and i even didn’t respect until months ago he could be even debated to be more a hero than luffy because luffy only fights for his friends not those who he doesn’t know and are in need of it.

People are just mad because so far he seems useless. Lot's of portrayal but no actual feats.

He is the leader of Rev army but what actually he did?

Is like saying presidents/emperors/kings are the heros for the fights they wasn't there. Like they were sending soldiers not fighting himself.

To be fair, for the past 25 years or so, the most we've seen Dragon do is...stare out at the horizon and maybe sometimes do some paperwork. Maybe he picks out a new cloak for himself once in a while, so he can continue to look mysterious while standing around. Not exactly the kind of stuff that ballads are written for.

Even in the latest chapter (c1159, I haven't read any spoilers for the next one)...I'm not sure if this actually counts as Dragon "doing something" or not. He mostly tries his best to talk his way out of actually doing something. Then he tranquilizes a couple of nameless background characters. Then he finds a woman bleeding out in a shed, who we can probably assume he fails to save. I mean...he almost HAS to actually do something on page soon. He can't really avoid it for much longer, if he does turn out to be the one to save baby Shanks or at least get his Devil Fruit or something. But, I'm not actually sure his streak of not doing anything has actually been broken, quite yet.

But, that's not really Dragon's fault. The story's just not focusing on him, yet. Dragon's in the same position that Kong is. I'm sure they're both very impressive...if we actually ever got the chance to see them do something. But, it's not quite time yet. I'm hoping we get to see a bit of the Revolutionaries fighting the God's Knights on Mariejois, just so that whole thing doesn't get completely offscreened. Plus, that would give Oda a chance to show us what a modern-day Dragon is actually capable of.

And on paper, sure, he's helping out people. From what we can tell, Dragon's a lot more of a "planner" than Luffy or Garp. It suits his character that his plans are more in the background. He can get more done in the shadows. He's helped free islands, and helped weaken the machine that supports the World Government. Dragon's probably done a lot of stuff that will end up aiding Luffy on his quest. It's just that we've barely actually seen any of it. And if it doesn't get any focus, it's hard for us to care about it.

So, I guess I can't personally blame people who are annoyed at Dragon. We've been waiting for him to actually make a move for a quarter century. The good news is, I think we're finally going to get to see something from him pretty soon. Unless this has all been one LOOOONG brick joke by Oda.
