Break Week A bit random and boring Question... Did you expect the Kanjuro betrayal?

#16
Ofc people did, at some point the monkey was even a suspect lmao
That monkey was sus as fuck. He was a scout, but did not see any of Jack's ships approaching? Right, as if. The monkey was in on it, the little fucker.

Most people were expecting Kojiro to be a double traitor and have a very interesting story. Like, he was a disillusioned scabbard who, like Hiyori, had to do anything to survive, even soiling his own reputation. He was going to fight for Orochi, thinking him invincible, only to change sides once he saw how powerful the SHs were. But his siding with the SHs, too, was just a tactic, and he'd eventually backstab them to try and get rid of all foreign invaders in hopes of building a new Wano just himself and Hiyori--a goal which would've eventually revealed to be unattainable, giving him a bitter sweet ending.
Instead we got a bad wig and a flimsy fight with Triceratops dude.

Kanjuro being the traitor and actually a very skilled artist had been floated in the fandom since late Zou, using panels of the drawn bird in Dressrosa as proof, but it was a boring theory all around. Nobody cared about his dumb ass. I still don't.
