Was this not already clear in the canon? I thought one of the Ebisu Town people said that in the course of calling Yasuie their hero...either way, shout out to the real MVP of Wano, this is the one instance where I wish Oda’s revival fetish would apply

Feel like Hyogoro has been all right - he’s gotten fleshed out a bit with the wife and being a former yakuza boss, was useful enough as the inevitable plot device by which Luffy learned advanced CoA, and has done more than some during this raid. I also like the Scabbards despite certain flaws in their characters, but yeah, Oden doesn’t even belong in the same breath as our favorite Shimotsuki (Zoro’s heritage reveal pending). Yasuie did more for Wano in death than the lapsed shogun did in his entire life :yasu:
