With the new informations we got from recent chapters, it's safe to say that the outlook of one piece changed a lot, so I decided to make a topic of discussion about some future stuff we might get.
IMPEL DOWN DEMISE:
The longest running theory we got going is that cross guild will free the prisoners for some reason but let's face it, it never made any sense, why would cg do that? To get doflamingo free? Even if he get the usual zenkai boost, is he really worth all that? It's safe to say that the answer is no, buggy definitely put that theory to rest with his plan to become the pirate king, he is going the easy way so he will definitely not attack a WG stronghold.
Some might also say this is not a future plot point which I personally doubt considering weevil's recent capture. This might seems crazy but I do not believe the introduction of a whitebeard clone will amount to nothing, it really do not add up at all. Personally I believe he is going to be usopp last opponent it just make so much sense, it's really the ultimate David vs Goliath, we got a weakling with a slingshot against someone rumoured to be as strong as the strongest man in the world. Both got a complicated relation with their dad but both still love them, weevil recent defeat against GB is just more fuel on the fire since GB and usopp share some theming such as nature.
This is where the new chapter comes in handy, we just learned the world is going to get flooded and who is in the worst place in this situation? People imprisoned in the depth of the sea with no way of coming back. I see 3 potential outcomes for this.
First and the unlikeliest:
Hannyabal let the prisoners die, it goes against the whole point of the prison, while the WG higher ups definitely do not care about that, I doubt the impel down officials agree with that.
Second outcome:
Hannyabal try to relocalize the prison and in the process lose the prisoners.
Third outcome:
The prisoners simply break free from themselves to escape a painful death.
