A Story About How Evil Things are Used for Good - A Playstation Controller and Romans 8:28

Edit: PS: I hope this post is allowed

Hey, I would like to share this bible verse about how all things, including evil things, work together for good specifically to them who love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose, and a real story about it.

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

.

I want to mention, personally through my life I have been through some pretty horrific experiences that were dragged out over a long tine, so I am not saying this to minimise anyone's pain, or the reality and hardship of pain, this story is silly, but it is true, I personally found it funny, so it may help others as well, and I think it can be used as a picture of how evil things are used by God for good ( to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose ), on the bigger world wide, history wide scale.

As a kid I had a playstation console. One time on a controller I used for it, one of the bumpers broke, I don't know if you would call it a bumper exactly, but it is one of the things you press down on, in the top part of the controller, not the small buttons, but the bigger ones, maybe they are called triggers if I remember well? It broke in such a way that it couldn't really be pressed down anymore, it was just stuck as it was.

I left it lying on the sofa one day.

One of my parents went to sort of dust things like small seed shells, if any were left over, off of the cover that was covering the sofa, by taking the cover and dangling it outside the window for some time.

It just so happened my controller was on the cover when they did that, which they didn't notice, it ended up being held there as they held the cover, and when they spread the cover out of the window, the controller fell out of it, a couple stories high.

I don't remember when I realised that that's what happened, but later I did go to where the controller fell, and found it.

It was intact, no damage as far as I know, and it just so happened that it fell on the broken bumper, fixing it, and I was able to use it well again.

And I think that's pretty awesome and wanted to share it.
