Character Discussion A valid reason why Sanji's Haki is weak(er)

Most readers only know:

- Sanji is just born without heaven's blessing/not a heaven chosen
- He has worse talent/genetic than Luffy/Zoro
- His goal is not force/power oriented
- or Sanji's part is Science.

While those are true, they are just surface level answers.

The real reason, based on canon info:

1. Haki is the act of no doubting (Rayleigh training arc)
2. Sanji's dream (All Blue) is something ethereal, a fantasy/mystical/legend. It's not even confirmed that it exists.

So, all this time , Luffy and Zoro:

1. Has clear goals.
This is why their heart is firmer, thus making their Haki (quality, quantity) stronger. Not just better lineage/genetic.
2. Go on journey & adventure in the direction of their goal.
Whereas Sanji isn't allowed to search for All Blue and can only follow SH's journey. All Blue is somewhere unknown, while SH only sails from one Log Pose point to another.

Haki is all about firmness, which led to a more serious kind of personality. Sanji's characteristics has a very wide range of emotions & traits, he's like only half serious. That's why his Haki is weaker.

Nice thread. But I find hard to think that the level of your haki depends only on how possible your dream is. Haki can be trained, and not only depends 9n your dreams. This might be the reason he might not have CoC, yet it wont stop the level of your CoA and CoO.

Mate, it's not that Sanji won't go on a journey without the Strawhats. It's just that Luffy just conveniently to be there.

As for his Haki being "weaker", I highly doubt that his emotions is affecting his willpower, WB's dream is to have a family yet his willpower is one of the strongest.

No sir. It isn't about being possible or not, but a more concrete goal leads to a firmer & steadier actions & will. This is something in tune with what Ray said, the act of not doubting.

He didn't have CoC simply because he's not born with it.

My point is, since the start until now, Sanji is "not allowed" to pursue his dreams, while the other two can.

Searching for All Blue means the SH takes a detour and random trips. Whereas to reach Laugh Tale, you must follow islands to islands that is already known by many people. All Blue is located in the unknown area, so the SH won't encounter it.

And I kinda agree, but he still can develop it through training. His CoO is great, it all depends on his ambitions. His CoA is average maybe, but with his tough body due genes, he still has a strong defense.

I have absolutely no doubt that Sanji will have CoC. That's no question, there's narrative leadup, authors use of poetic justice, and patterns left in foreshadowing that points to it. It's just the speculation of how and when that's left.

Luffy and Zoro simply are on a different level than the rest. Even Law's and Kidd's(who wants to be PK) haki aren't on that level.

I've said for years that all of the strawhats will have conquers haki. The future pirate king and now the reincarnation of sungod nika wouldn't have any less on his crew, they each have a dream worth fighting for and at some point will be backed into a corner where they will have to unleash their will to overcome. Even chopper who will probably unlock his against doc q who opposes pretty much everything that chopper stands for.

Nope. One Piece is not clear to exist. Luffy let that clear at Sabaody to Usopp.
And Sanji is just like him towards All Blue.

If anything Zoro would had lost hope when he lost to Mihawk/Kuma/Kizaru. So it doesn't work like that.
