Speculations About the Buccaneers

We know the Buccaneers are a nearly-extinct special race of people, we also know that they have Giant blood in them, and in the latest chapter 1139, we found out that they are a mixed race.

I don't believe they are a half human half giant hybrid.

But I was thinking, what if they are half Lunarians and Half Giants? Or Maybe they are half Lunarians and half Human-Giant hybrid.

Basically Lunarians+Human-Giant hybrid=Buccaneers?

The one thing both Lunarians and Buccaneers have in common so far is their durable bodies, the only difference is that Lunarians are way more durable especially with their flame on, and they lose that durability when their flame goes out.

My take: buccaneers are Nika/giant hybrids descended from Joyboy or Nika #1

A fully awakened Nika user can pass down part of their powers to their kids. Specifically, buccaneers share Nika’s ability to manipulate reality.

This is why Kuma could bypass his own death

The answer probably relies on information that hasn't been given to us yet, like another unrevealed race or direct connection to Joyboy.

I don't think they're just human/giant hybrids because if they were, then Scopper's son would be one, which hasn't been indicated at all imo.

There's also no indication they're part lunarian as the two share no traits whatsoever, also, Kuma's clone S-Bear, has been strengthened by Lunarian DNA, which wouldn't make much sense imo if the person he was cloned from, Kuma, was already part Lunarian.

But outside of dura maybe , buccaneers don't have any other traits similar to Lunarians.
