I think one of the mysteries in onepiece is that why cavendish decided to follow luffy to protect robin and law?

theres some mystery on that scene a silent one when cavendish looks at luffy. Thats the best thing in onepiece when you have to figure out such little detail but so many infos.

so in the latest chapter it looks like ace and cavendish once met. Did ace inspire cvendish to set sail? Like did cavendish saw how fully a free man ace is?
And did Cavendish saw the similiar thing on luffy during the dressrosa arc is that the reason why cavendish follow’s luffy?

No, I think he was just banished from his kingdom, so he became a pirate and because of his personality he just wants fame.
