You gotta remember that Joyboy was a failure, he was destined to free the world, do you think that ops world is free or something? JoyBoy failed 800 years ago, and he will fail now.

Well,i dont think so.Joyboy would probably choose someone else,Luffy was weak back then.Current Luffy is a top tier and has the personality to inherent jb will.Plus his body is not destroyed.Akainu destroyed Ace's spine and internal organs,joyboy couldnt use a body that sustained this much damage.

everything was useless if Luffy gets automatic power up by getting consumed with joyboy/if luffy becomes someone else
the whole story is pointless when the destiny card comes in play and an OP main characters appears out of nowhere, it means all the built up was useless cause the destiny will prevail

In Lolda's defense, he couldn't afford for Soyboy to be back at the Summit War because then Papazuki would expose Soyboy as a fraud like he exposed WB and his crew as frauds.
