Because it's not just destruction. Acnologia's AP, durability are both continental which makes it's impossible for Loki to critically damage his body. That's how i see it.

The only way I can see Loki winning is if we say Haki = Dragon Slaying magic

Because in Fairy Tail the only way to beat a dragon is dragon slaying magic other types of attacks are useless

If Haki = DS Magic then an argument can be made for Loki winning otherwise Loki wouldn't have the means to put Acnologia down

And if we're talking both at their peaks at the end of the original fairytail acnologia gained the ability to control space and time

Not only that but Acnologia has had 400 years of experience

So while it would be a close fight unless you add stipulations to the fight Loki doesn't have the facilities to actually beat Acnologia especially if he's at his peak
