I have to say that I didn't like the way Luffy's new fruit was served in the Wano Arc at all. However, if you look not at the presentation itself, but at the idea that is laid down with the Nika-Nika fruit, for me there is nothing in the fruit itself that contradicts the plot and the idea as a whole.
The luck of Luffy and the Straw Hats has been beyond reasonable throughout history. In addition, Luffy's wounds healed very quickly, no matter how fatal they were. And the way Luffy got stronger was always puzzling to me. And the Nika-Nika fruit explains everything that happened throughout the manga, for example:
First, the Klabauterman in the Skypiea arc and Water 7. Here you can see a direct influence of Nicky: Klabauterman appeared due to the love of the ship, but thanks to Nicka fruit, he did things that the Klabauterman normally cannot do: self-repairing the ship in Skypiea; did not sink before arriving at Water 7; Independently found Iceberg, who fixed it; After being repaired, he found his own way to Ennis Lobby without drowning in a storm; Could speak. Of course, Klabauterman settled on the ship without the Nika-Nika fruit, but I think that it was the Nika-Nika Fruit that strengthened the Klabauterman, and therefore the impossible became possible.
Secondly, Luffy was very lucky both in battles and in general: Luffy survived the storm by hiding in a barrel; Crocodile failed to kill him three times, and Luffy himself won despite the number of wounds and the strength of the enemy; Luffy is joined by some of the best in their field including Robin, Nami Franky, without whom his journey to Raftel would not have been possible;
Third: Luffy's survival chance never drops below zero;
In addition, the Nika Fruit itself is combined with Thousend Sunny, and in general Luffy suits especially in gear 5. After all, at the very beginning, Luffy always fought in battle with the enemy and was creative.
That's why, even though I don't like how Nick's fruit was introduced into Wano, when considering it as an idea that was brought to life in the wrong way, I like the idea of Nicka fruit. And I believe Oda planned it from the begining.
