The Dawg high diffs. Kizaru needed a VA to assist him and the YFM level character to be distracted in order to actually hurt him. Good luck trying to catch an FS user off guard lol. The YFM level character laughed off his most powerful attack, and the Dawg can not only do so but also evade it completely. High diff because I am scaling Kizaru's endurance to be like Akainu and Aokiji's. If it's worse than that, the Dawg mid diffs.

Marco has barrier CoA (at least retrospectively that is so because the black clad haki wasn’t shown pre timeskip, so Oda has to write it that way even if he didn’t intend so, the monster trio in WB all have barrier haki)

With barrier haki he can damage Kata. Same goes for Jozu and Vista to the extent that FS is a problem, the shockwave-like Haki that Rayleigh has, they also have, the exact same as Sentomaru and so can cause damage

If WBP were pretty much equals to Roger Pirates, then why wouldn’t it make sense for their crew to edge out against BMP? WBP as rookies could fight Roger’s crew, so why wouldn’t they by dint of this massive feat far surpass BMP who have no street cred to compare ?

Rayleigh is stronger than Kata. WB’s monster trio have Ryo haki, same as Rayleigh as shown by the fact that they used haki that wasn’t clad in black, ie Ryo. Kata doesn’t have this. WB pirates could fight Roger’s crew including Ray when he was in his prime, and Ray when he is old was good enough to square off against Kizaru (though Kizaru clearly had the upper hand against Rayleigh).

Marco, Jozu and Vista all have Ryo and are skilled enough to defeat Katakuri when they are trusted by WB to duke it out with admirals and Mihawk.Marco, Jozu and Vista all beat Katakuri owing to Ryo and more experienced in battle, having real feats of fighting top tiers as opposed to Brûlée hyping Kata to be something we later learn he is clearly not

Well...

• Marco is Katakuri's equal if not even superior because of his portrayal
• Kizaru is an Admiral (hence top tier) who has a very broken DF
• Saying "Marco diff" is exactly what I meant: strong enough to stall Kizaru for a bit but ultimately, he'd still lose the battle.

I sure support Katakuri against other high tiers but I simply cannot ignore the gap between a top tier and a high tier only because Katakuri is one of my favourite characters.
It's like saying "You think EoS Sasuke wins against Nagato although you are a Nagato fan?" - sure, Nagato is my favourite Naruto antagonist and I utterly hate Sasuke but I won't mindlessly wank Nagato against a literal moon buster only because I like him more.
