does he really have the PLANT type df? the one which made him able to do some kinda photosynthesis thing (he hasn't eaten anything for 3 years)
if so, what connection does it have with BULL then? (Ryokugyu = Green Bull)
or perhaps, is it something like mystical zoan type df?

I'm guessing a Mythical Zoan, so each current gen. Admiral covers every DF type. I wouldn't be opposed to a Wood Logia though, Hashirama's wood powers in Naruto are cool and this would be to the next level.

I don't think his epithet will be a big factor. Not like it is for Purple Tiger, Yellow Monkey or any other DF beyond color.

right, i don't think the animal thing represent anything just like the other admirals, but if he's indeed a zoan, it would make sense if it's something related to a bull, just imo tho
