Powers & Abilities Advanced Presence Haki:What does it do?

Following the belief that Haki has Branches, I have always wondered what advanced presence haki would look like. I believe precognition is a separate branch where the upper level is future Sight but we haven’t seen anything about what the presence branch of this haki would do at advanced levels.

For example, just because someone like Katakuri is godly at precognition does not mean he is good at general presence. There are several instances of this shown during WCI.

So what do you guys think this branch of Coo does. This is all speculation so no need for concrete facts or anything like that. I don’t believe we will see it in story due to the fact that it may not have a combat application like precognition. I’ve always imagined maybe having people out there who have continental level observation haki in regards to just sheer sensing range. And possibly, I saw a video talking about how it might be able to erase the users presence and remove intent from their attacks. That’s might explain how Shanks comes and goes without being noticed.


As far as erasing intent and presence, it may essentially force precognition users to have less effective haki or require future sight to even predict the opponents moves thought Coo.

So what do you guys think advance presence might give?

Rayleigh is an example of the highest form of presence observation haki.


Luffy's observation haki is a combination of Katakuri( Precogniton-Seeing Future), Queen Othimes (Sensing Emotions), Rayleigh/Fujitora's(Sensing Aura's/presence)

Luffy's skill in observation haki is was always been quite high. Against Mihawk in Marineford, he used it to see his hands getting cut off. Mihawk even said Luffy was unusually calm. Being extremely calm is needed to use Observation Haki.

In fact unlike Katakuri, Luffy's haki has an extra perk of sensing presence/ aura's while he is looking to the Future, so he can dodge attacks without concentrating. Chapter 939 showed this.


I think all those abilities together in combination with latent Conquerors Haki makes the "Voice of All Things"

This is why Oda has stated Luffy has the Highest Emotional IQ in the series.

I never understood why Rayleigh said Luffy was better fit for sensing emotions.

First time Luffy Awakened CoO, he used fs(against Mihawk).
