I think Kuma is attacking the red line just like the robot 200 years ago.
My guess is that Vegapunk based Kuma’s design off of the ancient robot we’ve seen in his possession. And a glitch or subroutine is causing him to go haywire and attack the red line in the same way.
Who will stop Kuma? Well, two of the three admirals are away from Mariejois, as are the strongest forces of CP0 (or most of them). This leaves only Akainu, Ryokugyu, and possibly the gorosei as potential candidates to put him down.
Given the history Sakazuki seemed to have with Bonney in their brief interaction, I think he’s the main candidate.
This clash at Mariejois will lead directly into some context about the relationship between Akainu and Dragon that a lot of us have speculated about since Marineford.
