Fake outs in Wano alone:
  • Tama being hit by Kaido
  • Babanuki posion
  • Kanjuro vs Kiku
  • Kaido slicing Orochi's head off
  • Kanjuro vs Kinemon
  • Kaido vs Scabbards
  • Luffy vs Kaido roof
  • Luffy vs Kaido falls to sea
  • Orochi vs Kinemon and Denjiro
  • Kinemon vs Kaido
  • Kanjuro vs fire
  • Zoro vs Kaido
  • Hyogoro poison
  • Kiku vs Kanjuro
There are more but I can't think of any, so finish the list for me.

Any future authors out there, if you want to write a quality story then make sure you keep the fake outs to a minimum and not let it consume the whole arc.

I think Kiado not being able to die, and since it's HIS arc, implies no one will actually die?
idk

MCs getting knocked out is not a Fake Out lol
Have you ever read an Action Manga where MCs were never in Near-Death Danger?

Everyone knows that Hydra cannot be killed easily, dunno why you even mentioned Orochi as a Fake Out
And you expected Chopper to not rescue Hyogoro & others with Anti-Dote? lol
Who cares about Babanuki lmao

The only real Fake-Outs we had this Arc are Tama in Act 1, but even though she survived, we instead had Death of Yasuie
And second Fake-Out was Scabbards as a whole (Especially Kin'emon & Kanjuro)
But Usopp already explained how Samurai are obsessed with dying in battle & he is trying to teach them not to

I'm not defending this Arc, it obviously has a lot of things that would annoy Readers, but i hate when people who don't follow OP properly or only started it very recently start to overreact to things. For example they act as if Fake-Out Deaths are something new in Wano! This only shows that they never read all of One Piece (Skimmed through it at best)

Arabasta for example which was Second Saga in Story & only in the second Hundred Chapters, we had:

Igaram Death Fake Out
Kid from Capital Death Fake Out
Robin Death Fake Out
Mr. 3 Death Fake Out
Koza Death Fake Out
Toto Death Fake Out
Dalton Death Fake Out
Pell Death Fake Out

But no one ever criticized Arabasta Arc like they do now with Wano, and same thing applies to many other Arcs
The simple reality is that most Readers didn't read One Piece from the Start & even if they did, they got much older, started reading weekly (Add to it the Breaks), discussing endlessly in Forums which effects their Expectations so much, being insecure when OP is compared to their favorite Manga, not to mention the lack of Nostalgia & the Power Levels Debates which makes them hate multiple characters (For example, there are many Admiral Fans who hate Yonko & Swordsmen & Supernova due to Power Levels Debates, so they can't help but really really hate Wano Arc which only focuses on those Three Groups)

Seriously when you criticize One Piece or Wano Arc, mention something "New", something that wasn't there before & started to be included in Story which looks bad to readers, not bother to read over 1000 Chapters to criticize the Story for something that exists in every single arc.
It's like saying, Wano is bad because there are Pirates in it lmao

Usually I wouldn't complain about this sort of thing, but after this week's spoilers (and one character surviving) I do agree it's taken too far at times, and this is a case of that...

My guy, tell me where I said fake outs never existed in One Piece? Like dude, why are you always getting defensive even against the slightest, obvious criticisms of One Piece? This thread is to highlight to SHEAR AMOUNT of fake outs. Alabasta barely had 4 fake outs whereas Wano has at least 20!

Also your list for Alabasta fake outs are wrong.
