This is reaction to Den Den mushi's thread he adds few valid point on Whitebeard being unavailable to oden and wano people .
Marco says its about civilian life but in recent chapter he said he had no idea wano was this bad retcons Ace visit to amigasa village and kaido's brutual rule in wano was open eye witness to Ace himself.
Its simple its more about plot than backstory of whitebeard.
The crucial conversation between Roger and Whitebeard about will of D has not been revealed to the readers. It only means WB knew what oden was upto in wano and Roger's explanation about laughtale made sense for him to not invade wano
Oden was waiting for someone 20 years ahead in time , the promise day even toki travelled 800 years ahead to witness the day was already shown in past panel.
With all the point above it makes sense Whitebeard knew someone will fight kaido , open wano borders and challenge the world govt.
Whitebeard even pointed out Ace was not ready , it does not really say about him not facing kaido.
Overall if we analyse the part it makes sense why Newgate has made no attempts on kaido's life in past 15 years of his lifetime.
