After reading chapter 267, I decided to think of an idea for a better way Nobara COULD'VE come back, & simeltaneously expanded on Jujutsu High & stuff. I came up with it this morning after reading the leaks.
After Shibuya, Nobara's is stolen by Jujutsu High, as a chip against Gojo if he returns, & to utilize her Cursed technique to make a cursed-corpse of her, utilizing Mechamaru/Yaga technology from Tokyo High.
Yuji & Megumi are tasked by Yuta to save Nobara from deep within Jujutsu High. Here, we get Yuta to talk about his relationship to Gojo, talk about the history of the three families, & maybe some inner drama between some sorcerer's like Yuki, & the general ain of Jujutsu High.
Yuki & Megumi work hard to infiltrate HQ, making heavy use of Megumi's shadow-controlling technique, which is used like 4 times in JJK.
When they find Nobara, she's broken free of their control. We could have Nobara be heavily characterized as controlled: for her cursed technique, & because she's a woman. Her cursed technique curses her to be desired by Jujutsu High. And yet, she ironically makes use of her burden to break free of control. This ties in with the general theme in JJK that cursed energy is a way that Gege assigns fates to characters.
After she was brought out, the Zenin clan ended up sending multiple sorcerer's to catch & kill all three of them: Yuji for sentencing, Megumi as a potential clan leader, Nobara because she's a woman, & that they want her as a tool thing.
The tactical combinations of resonance & ten shadows allow Yuji to pull off many sneak-attacks. He struggles against the Zenin clan projection technique, which is an excellent counter to sneak attacks. Maybe Nobara shoots nails through shadows & combo's with Yuji's delayed punch technique. We could have Yuji punch through the pain, like how he tanked Megukuna's slashes: further characterizing him as a man who will do anything to achieve his goals.
In the end, Yuta comes in & 'executes' all of them. He also ate Nobara's eyeball off-screen, so he has resonance now.
Yuta takes their bodies to a meetup spot to Yuki & Choso, & Yuji & Choso hug it out & it's cute. Then they go to Tengen, & the culling games start.
