Their brains grow slowly along with their bodies, so even if Colon is 20-30 years old, he’s still 8 to 10 mentally and physically.

where are people getting this giants age slower lore from? did I miss an SBS? pretty sure they just have longer life spans. Longer life spans doesn't = slower aging
It’s from Big Moms flashback when we see an 18 year old Hajrudin as a child

ahhh i gotcha but still I'm sure Oda is telling us the ages they are not the age they look, Hajrudin looked like he was around 10 but it was said he was 18. it would be weird for oda to tell us the ages they would be in human years no matter how he looks Hajrudin was still born 81 years ago

He was, but giants age slowly (this was stated this very chapter) and why Colons dad never married his mom because when he’s a frail old man, she’ll look like a woman in her prime.

Yes, which is why Giants age slower. He looks young because he is young, for a giant.

Yeah, they're probably 18+

Why do you ask?

Just kidding, on a serious note; our brain takes 25 years to fully develop.
So I'm guessing a giant takes 75 years to fully develop in body and mind. (Which is why Gerd is 75, not 25)

I mean yeah that's the normal lore for giants in most stories

even real life biology works the exact same way

If they grow slowly it's their own evolutionary disadvantage. They have zero right to complain when a 30yo human beats up a 30yo giant.

Not to forget that every giant kid is capable of killing 99% of the humans.
