5. Straw Hat’s met up with Hatchan towards the end of the first half of their journey. It fits that they would meet with another member of the Arlong pirates towards the end of the second half of their journey.

6. Arlong was captured by the marines back in EB, but he wasn’t in Impel down. The Marines probably used the Arlong Pirates to get the Road Poneglyphe, to prevent anyone from reaching Laughtale as Shiryu said.
