Avalo Pizzaro has been always destined to be Sanji's opponent ever since his introduction and here is why :

1- He is a Corrupt King from North Blue (probably has some history with Germa just like Queen) and that's big part of Sanji's fights is that there's usually a narrative in it and not just a straight up fight

2- When you lay out the matchups he is the only one that make sense for Sanji




- Usopp vs Sniper
- Chopper vs Doctor
- Robin vs strongest female
- Luffy vs Captain
- Zoro vs Swordsman

That leaves Wolf, Shot, Pizzaro, Laffite and Burgess

- Nami ain't fighting any Level 6 Impel Down nor anyone strength based she will have the navigator stealth fight (Laffite)
- Wolf is literally called collassul battleship so vs Franky who would fuse with Sunny (just like the bounty poster teased) and be a megazord fight

So that leaves Pizzaro, Shot and Burgess as the next candidates ; and I would say it's :

- North Blue Royality fight Sanji vs Pizzaro
- Heavy Drinkers fight with Water vs Fire with Jinbei vs Shot
- Bums of the crews who might not even get to fight at all (probably Burgess gets knocked out by Zoro's CoC or something and Brook doesn't get a fight per usual)

3- It will be a switchup of opponnets where Sanji fights the Giant Golem and Zoro fights the Invisible Man







But most importantly both opponents are huge upgrades compared to their previous versions :

- Shiryu >>> Absalom

- Pizzaro >>> Pica





Oars was a tower and even he wasn't as big as the sail in Thriller Bark , now look how small Thriller Bark is compared to Hachnisou ; Pizzaro is able to control a golem that's 100 times bigger than Pica



And in recent chapters we got even more evidence for Pizzaro with insane durability tanking multiple ACoC punches from Garp and Koby

Devon's fruit's main ability is to transform into someone and Robin is too cold for that to have any effect on her, we see this in the way she defeated Black Maria's illusiond

On the other hand, Nami has a hard time fighting seraJinbe seriously just because of his looks.

Is there any other strawhat who can take him down?

He isn't fighting Luffy or Zoro. Robin's clutches need an opponent with a tangible human body not an entire island. Nami's thunder doesn't work on rocks. Ussop fights Auger. Chopper fights Doc Q. Brook can't fight an island. Only possible match ups are:

Franky: Franky's matches often involve boxing and wrestling. He fits more as an opponent to Wolf (colossal battleship) or even Burgess if Jimbe doesn't fight him. And I am not sure Franky is Pizaro's level given his portrayal so far

Jinbe: Jimbe's fishman karate and water bending doesn't really work on Pizaro's fruit. His martial arts style would fare better against a wrestler like Burgess who uses shockwaves attacks and who is a helmsman and generally has been getting decent focus.

Only Sanji remains. He fights Pizaro

Germa and Sanji are done. There is no plotline about that anymore. Oda literally created a piece of garbage named queen who had every bad traits about sanjis brothers and their powers. And had sanji throw him to the moon.

Nami doesn't hurt them seriously. The fight against seraJinbe shows quite obviously that Nami would have difficulty in a serious fight against anyone who looks like her allies

Anyway, Devon can also transform into a child, which would also be difficult for her.

He seemed pretty much defeated to me.
Usually when Oda shows us the techiniques of a character and make him lose a fight it means he wont fight the Strawhats. So i dont think he will be between the BB pirates who'll do match-ups with the SHs
