Azula from ATLA



Vs

Kuvira from legend of Korra

Imo Kuvira destroys Azula

Not only is She more cunning in battle and the more skilled martial artist

Earth bending is stronger than fird bending in general she can protect her self from Azula's Flames and lighting by coating herself in rock armor

Add that on to the fact she can metal bend allowing her to form bladed weapons or even steel whips using her ability

Azula ran circles around a stronger earth bender (Book 3 Toph) without being pinned down. Kuvira, like all earthbenders in Korra, are tied down by a lack of large scale feats and the ingenuity of their predecessors.

I can't see Kuvira getting Azula easily. Especially when Azula is so much more mobile and one of the most analytical fighters out there. Fire jets to build distance, lightning for OHKO if she gets lucky, generally quicker and more agile.

And IIRC in the comics, Azula is only a stronger version of her Book 3 self with better bending feats

I favor Azula, though Kuvira would make it an insanely tough fight.

When it comes to earth bending, 100%. Kid Toph stalemated Bumi in a bending competition in the comics. She also has significantly better earth bending feats than Kuvira and I'm not sure Kuvira has any edge with metal bending compared to kid Toph.

I think she does have an edge kid Toph was just learning the ends and out of metal bending having just recently discovered it also has she on King bumi ever actually done anything Kuvira herself isn't capable of doing?

That’s true after all Kurvira beat Korea’s ass after she got the rest of the metal poison out of her system.
