Stop throwing words around, One piece fights never had tension; outside of Marineford and Sabaody, there was no chance of Luffy and Co ever losing a single battle or ally. What made the fights riveting was the proper build ups and the often predictable but well executed conclusions, the straw hats were never going to be killed nor were they ever going to truly lose, the threat of it was not even present.

And as for the title of this thread...….no...…just no, the entire point of that fight was to illustrate how important every straw hats contribution is and that if the crew wants to overcome the odds they need to work together, it's literally about the exact opposite of a single straw hat "carrying". (with all do respect)

I don't recall a lot of tension in the verse when it came to fighting.

I think Marineford maybe had it to some extent, some fights outcomes were already written all along and predictable, that is because armor is a bad b
