Theory Battle of the Red Cliffs vs Attacking the Red Line

#1
This post is about an event that is similar to the Battle of the Red Cliffs that will happen in the future of the One Piece story. I will show you the information of how I came to get this idea. I might have casually said it on other thread, but this time I have more evidence to connect these two events.

Cao Cao is Marshall D. Teach.

The Battle of the Red Cliffs is a real-world event and also part of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. One of the important characters is Cao Cao. He is very cunning and a notorious betrayer. No matter if they are friends or relatives, he will kill them if the action benefits him. This is a reason why Cao Cao is very similar to Teach's character.

Cao Cao Acquires Naval Power.

Before the Battle of the Red Cliffs, Cao Cao didn't have a strong naval army. So he conquered a rogue territory that has formidable naval experience. That includes two admirals who switched sides to serve him. From there, he built the mightiest naval fleet to wage war against the Wu Kingdom. Right now the marine holds the strongest naval fleet in the world, so the parallel here is Teach will conquer the Marineford to acquire a massive amount of marine troops. Catarina Devon can now mimic Saturn, which is extremely valuable because they can control the marines regardless of the vice admirals' knowledge. This actually supports the recent Dawn & Dusk's theory, he has mentioned some good points, so I don't need to go any further.

Cao Cao killed two admirals.

There were two admirals commanding Cao Cao's massive naval fleet. However, they don't live long enough to see the battle happen. The grand commander of the Wu Kingdom frames them for betraying Cao Cao. Very well knowing that Cao Cao's extreme paranoia will lead him to believe it, he ordered the two admirals beheaded.

This gives the idea that Teach might kill two admirals in the future to parallel Cao Cao, and to surpass his father's feat. Who are the two admirals? Kizaru is definitely one of them because he has the power of light. Light and darkness are the two sides of the same coin. Most importantly, his attack abilities are named after the regalia for the shogunate. Teach might have to kill him to "obtain the regalia" to become king of the world.

The other admiral could be either Kuzan or Akainu. Kuzan is pretty oblivious at this point, there is plenty of evidence about his betrayal. Akainu is now defending the Holy Land, so there could be a point where Teach fights Akainu to parallel his father's feat.

The Red Cliffs is the Red Line.

Cao Cao once wages war with the Wu Kingdom, which is famous for their naval prowess. The event takes place in the area around Red Cliffs. Now this is interesting, let's take a look at the word "Red Cliffs" because it is very similar to the word Red Line. Red Cliffs in Chinese is called 赤壁, but the words do not mean cliffs; rather, they actually mean Red Wall. Think about it, the only thing that looks like the Red Wall in One Piece is the Red Line.

The word also being used in the name of a character in One Piece. Who could it be? That's right, it's Akainu. Akainu in kanji means
赤犬, the exact same word "red" for Red Cliffs. Interestingly, Akainu is a fleet admiral and is tasked to defend the Holy Land on top of the Red Line.

The Wu Kingdom is the Revolutionary Army.

Cao Cao's naval fleet is destroyed primarily by two elements, wind and fire. At that time, Cao Cao's army is still way too large for the alliance to handle. So the grand commander of the Wu Kingdom came up with the idea of burning Cao Cao's naval fleet. They simply start a fire on the front and let the wind spread the fire to the rest of the fleet.

Coincidentally, as we know, Dragon and Sabo possess the exact same powers, the wind and fire respectively. Presumably Dragon has a wind-related devil fruit power, but this parallel really reinforces his devil fruit theory.

There is a proverb in Chinese being used in the Battle of Red Cliffs, it was called "万事俱备,只欠东风," which means "everything is ready but missing the wind from the East." This perfectly describes Dragon as a whole, he has everyone taking part of all the actions except him stucked on his desk all day, and all he did was stare to the East.

Moreover, Dragon has the title of supreme commander, which is similar to grand commander of the Wu Kingdom. I know "supreme" and "grand" are different, but they're both the army's highest ranks. The important part is that they adopt the commander title. As their enemy, Teach also has a similar title from Cao Cao's army. Cao Cao's admiral is called 提督 in Chinese. 提督 is the same title given to Teach in Japanese Kanji. So Dragon being a commander same as Cao Cao's enemy, and Teach having Cao Cao's admiral title is too much of a coincidence.

I don't know how the war will play out, but I have a gut feeling that Oda will twist the outcome. Teach will not be defeated at MarieJois because ultimately Teach will have to fulfil his father's dream and surpass it's legacy.

Given the revolutionaries abandoned Baltigo simply showed that they are no match against Blackbeard Pirates back then. Now they have bigger advantage, for example, they have Garp as the hostage, new powers, and awakenings. Here are the things I think will happen.
- Garp will die on MarieJois to fulfil his idea of saving the next generation.
- Dragon and Sabo will successfully destroy the MarieJois and steal something valuable.
- Teach will take over the MarieJois and some remnants of WG will join him.

TLDR;
Oda takes inspiration from the Battle of the Red Cliffs event. Cao Cao is Teach. Wu Kingdom is the Revolutionaries. Teach will do similar thing like Cao Cao did in the novel. First he will conquer the marineford, then attack MarieJois and Revolutionaries. In the process of doing it, he recruits 2 admirals and kill the other 2. Nothing about God's Knights/Gorosei/Imu as they do not parallel the Battle of the Red Cliffs, probably part of other ancient tales. All in all, not a good thread for the marine bros.
