I was thinking about the current Arcs & their main battles fight times.
We have the longest known fight last 10 days between Aokiji v Akainu.
While the second longest fight lasting 5 full days of nonstop action between Ace and Jinbei.
These are feats of Stamina, Endurance & Durability.
The longest fight we've had gotten so far have been from WCI against Cracker hitting 11 hours and Katakuri around 8-11 hrs.
We've had time limits on almost every major arc so far Dressrosa and the Birdcage & Kaido and the Island.
These imposed time limits up the ante but Luffy is always given a powerup or an unknown variable to help him win. It's common knowledge Luffy doesn't have the stamina to go more than few full hours nonstop without being completely depleted of Haki or needing to eat.
Meanwhile we have a halfdead Zoro fighting a YC1 and winning in less than 10 minutes.
Has the concept of Stamina just gone out the window for Oda as these long times were a sign of neutrality and being evenly matched with an opponent. From a viewers standpoint a half dead Zoro by pure powerscaling time it took to defeat King and how heavily damaged he was. Realistically Zoro would mid diff King fully rested. It almost makes the 10 & 5 day and 11 hour time frames obsolete overall.
Is this just another thrown away concept from Oda or do battle times hold any significance overall?
