Italy is not a recommended destination for kids, you will be bored. Vatican city isn't bad for the architecture, but I was done after a couple of days.
France sucks ass, I have no idea why people visit that filthy place, only the baked food is any good. Basically it's a dirtier and less funny version of England which is also pretty bad unless you enjoy the countryside.
Portugal - great, don't really have any complaints. Doubt you'll see any cool animals though, or I didn't.
Nepal much fun, cheap, not many law enforcement, temples everywhere, the people who push the rickshaws around can put you onto all sorts of interesting things. Only thing is the city basically shuts down at 10pm, I had to climb over a wall just to get back in my hotel.
Thailand, similar to nepal but better, got to see muay thai fights and nice food if a little sweet, watch out for traps
Hawaii all round good, but expensive if you want a decent experience
